Because of the economic situation in Egypt, many people live in poverty, which unfortunately tends to hit children worst. Families suffer from unemployment and high food prices. The law prohibits parents from giving their children up for adoption. Many children are quite simply left completely without any adult supervision, so they have nowhere to sleep, eat and be together with other children. They are forced to grow up on the streets.

DGSS is involved in running a home for these children. Currently 44 children live here. We work hard so that they can all feel looked after and loved. But we need your help to buy resources so that we can give them all the care and love that they need.
